The Carcinogenic Potency Project

Screen Version of the Carcinogenic Potency Database

For viewing on a computer screen, the Carcinogenic Potency Database (CPDB) is presented in a condensed format. Data are reported under the chemical name, and chemicals are sorted alphabetically. The data are the same as those in the CPDB 2-sided plots. Results are included for 6540 experiments on 1547 chemicals.

The screen version of the CPDB in PDF format is here.

A detailed guide to this screen version of the CPDB describes each variable in the order in which it appears. An example of one experiment is used as a guide to the results.

Methods used to develop the CPDB describes sources of data, inclusion criteria, choice of tissue and tumor to include, standardization of daily dose-rate for each species and estimation of TD50. Information is also provided about diversity of bioassay designs in the CPDB, e.g., dose ranges tested, number of dose groups, and the frequency of testing per chemical.

Appendices report codes used in the CPDB.

The CPDB is also available in the published 2-sided plot format, in Excel, and in tab separated format.
